About Tom and this Project

On May 16th 2013, our employee, Tom McMillian was involved in a life-threatening bike accident.  While riding in Center City Philadelphia, a tractor-trailer truck struck and ran over him.  His pelvis was instantly crushed and he was rushed to the hospital.  He is currently in stable, but critical condition and remains hospitalized.  While it was a miracle that Tom survived, he has a long road ahead of more surgeries and rehab.

Update:  On May 22, 2013, Tom underwent a 12-hour surgery to reconstruct his pelvis.  He needs our ongoing support.  Keep those pictures coming!

At a loss for how we could help in the short term, we decide to let the dogs do what they do best – cheer and inspire.  It is my hope that we could compile hundreds of photos of support for him so that he knows we’re behind him in the weeks and months ahead.

Tom – We hope these photos bring a smile to your face.  You’re not alone.  We’re all woofing for you.

Everyone is welcome to submit a photo, whether you know Tom or not.  (Let us know who the dog is, and where you live!)  Please email woofsfortom@gmail.com to submit.
